Land & Environment Court hearing for The UN/DCM nightclub

The club is seeking an extended trial of 24/7 trading on weekends. The Development Application has been refused by Council, and the matter is now being heard in the Land & Environment Court.

The hearing commenced on 17 December 2007 at the club before Senior Commissioner Roseth. There the court conducted a site view and heard evidence from residents and an acoustic expert. The matter then resumed in court for the remainder of the day. The proceedings haven't finished and will continue in court at 10.00 am on the 3rd and 4th of March 2008.
