Who's this site for?

The initial geographic area we aim to cover is shown here. There are no firm boundaries, and several suburbs are involved - parts of Darlinghurst, East Sydney, Surry Hills and Sydney. It's all in the City of Sydney Council, but is covered by 3 different police commands - Central, Surry Hills and Kings Cross. The area not only includes a number of licensed premises and clubs, but is also a major traffic corridor - both for vehicles, pedestrians and revellers making their way to and from city-based public transport hubs. So:

• If you live or work in the vicinity of Hyde Park South - then this site is for you!
• If you run a business in the area - then this site is for you
• If you belong to any community organisation that's trying to make things better in this area - then this site is for you!
• If you're a City Councillor or State Government Member, and you want to know what your constituents are thinking and feeling - then this site is for you!

In fact it's for any one who cares, and wants to make things better for themselves, their neighbourhood and their city.

If you're someone who takes the view ‘You chose to live there, so you should expect it” – you’re wrong, and this site is for you too. Take the time to look closer and you’ll see that a lot of us were here long before our neighbourhood got to the state it’s in.
